Toddlers are so random

This morning as I was "working" on the computer, aka playing on my farm in Farm Town, my 2 year old saunters up to me, her little lips pressed together with one eyebrow up. I wasn't sure what she wanted as she, like any kid, can be so random. I expected her to ask for a snack or ask for juice and this is what I get...

Lily: Momma, I'm purple cause of the bugs is bugging me. (keep in mind, she's two...lol)

Me: You're purple? Where? What bugs?

Lily: *knods* That's why I need coffee, 'cause they is surrounding me momma.

Me: And coffee will help this?

Lily: *knods again with a smile* yeah, so can I have some coffee?

Me: No, 2 year olds don't drink coffee.

Lily: Yes I do

You have to wonder how she connects thing in her cute little head...first off there weren't any bugs and second..I wasn't drinking coffee...So random.

Of course we are talking about someone who thinks that she is stylin' for walmart dressed like this...

Tho only thing you can't see in this picture is that she is also wearing a multi-colored necklace around her waist and that the princess shoes she is wearing never match...she has to have 2 different princesses on at the same time.

Lil Miss J!

J was bouncy and bubbly, oozing of all the happy energetic confidence that we adults wish we could have saved up in a jar for those days when we just don't have the motivation. Constantly on the move, though she did stop momentarily to make sure that Bunny (her photo companion) had a few shots of her own as any bunny should :P Her happy, adventurous nature was what I wanted to capture and wasn't disappointed by this beautiful 5 year old. By the end of the session, while spinning on her swing, she would say, "one more, just for the pictures" followed a few seconds later by, "OK, just one more...for the pictures."

Bill and Kris

Bill and Kris are always fun story for me to share. Not only because I am really good friends with them but because I got the pleasure of introducing them :P

It was a normal night at my old part time job when Bill and I were having one of our many long talks. Out of no where, he simply asked me if I could find him someone "like me"...someone laid back, who had a sense of humor, a girl who loves to laugh, someone loyal and compassionate (I promise he said it not me), someone who could be a best friend...So I was pshyced when I met Kristen. We got along so well, read the same books, liked the same movies, laughed at the same jokes...but the real question was how could I set the two up without them knowing? My answer...your gonna laugh...Karaoke. I knew neither one sang but that I did and gave them both the excuse to watch me make a fool of myself :P and so it began!

It has been a year now and Bill and Kris are going strong. Two of our best friends we see every week. I couldn't be happier for them!
